Bogor, Monday, 19 May 2025 — PT Tiga Inovasi Medika, a subsidiary of Fenanza specializing in medical solutions for companion animals, successfully organized a two-day international seminar and workshop focused on dermatological conditions in veterinary practice. The event, titled “Evidence-Based Approaches and Treatment Update for Skin Disorders,” was held at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor.

Opening the seminar, Drh. Andre Firmansyah, MSc, Director of PT Tiga Inovasi Medika, emphasized the importance of dermatological care in veterinary services. He highlighted that skin disorders remain one of the most common reasons pet owners seek veterinary treatment. According to him, Tiga Inovasi Medika is committed to supporting the growth and sustainability of companion animal businesses by addressing both clinical and operational needs within veterinary practices.

The seminar was also officially opened by Drh. Siti Komariah, Chairperson of the Indonesian Association of Small Animal Veterinary Practitioners (ADHPHKI), underlining the relevance of the topic for daily clinical practice.

The first session was delivered by Jay Mun, Assistant Manager of the Sales Team at Recens Medical Inc., who introduced VetEase, an innovative device designed for anti-inflammatory treatment in animals. He explained that while cryotherapy has long been used in veterinary medicine, VetEase offers significant advancements through its rapid precision temperature control technology. This allows practitioners to accurately regulate temperature and treatment duration, with the system reaching the target temperature within just two to three seconds.

VetEase operates by transforming a solution into micro ice particles measuring approximately 30 micrometers, which are then applied via a controlled spray jet. The device features three easily adjustable modes. One of its key functions, IN (IceNeedling) Mode, operates at a controlled temperature of 2°C and is intended to reduce inflammation, support wound healing, and assist in the management of conditions such as alopecia X, atopic dermatitis, chronic dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, and lymphoplasmacytic pododermatitis (LPP). This approach is designed to be gentle, effective, and minimally stressful for animal patients.

In addition, VetEase contains over 97% pure exosomes, a significantly higher concentration compared to similar products on the market, which typically contain less than 70%. This enables drug-free treatment options, particularly for complex or treatment-resistant skin conditions where conventional therapies may be less effective.

The seminar continued with a presentation by Dr. Kim Ha Jung, PhD, DVM, from Chonnam National University, who delivered an in-depth update on Atopic Dermatitis in Dogs. She presented several clinical case studies utilizing different treatment approaches, including the application of VetEase Exosome therapy.

Dr. Kim also served as a coach during the subsequent hands-on workshop titled “Hands-On Diagnosis and Treatment with Cryotherapy and Stem-Cell in Veterinary Practice.” The workshop took place on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, at the IPB Educational Veterinary Teaching Hospital, providing participants with practical experience and applied learning.

The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, which was enthusiastically attended by veterinarians from various clinics across the Greater Jakarta area. The strong engagement reflected the growing interest among veterinary professionals in evidence-based, technology-driven solutions for managing dermatological conditions in companion animals.
